If it is not secret, what is the reason why you have external costs? Ideally, you just need Apify for the whole thing (compute, proxy, storage) and then you don't need to worry about free users since Apify covers all of its resources.

Whatever it is, when I set a price, I expect to be paid that per run. Not these deceptive practices where we don't get paid out for "free tier" runs. It's a $5 credit, as far as I know, that's actually five dollars being given to each user, which goes to whichever developer they opt to use.

But that's how subscriptions work. You will be charged by Netflix at the end of the month even if you don't watch any films. Even Apify works like that. Once you subscribe to a plan you will be charged every month even if you don't use any actors. I don't understand why developers shouldn't benefit from this subscription model......

Question - Some of my actors I think are being used because they are rental and PPE may be more expensive to the end users. If rental is discontinued, it would create a lot of problems for me because I currently rank very high for the actor and my revenues depend on it.

1. The temporary token should be run-bound, only work for the duration of the run. If you can use it 1 hour after the run, that would be quite a huge security bug so please report that if it actually happens. 2. Not sure about ToS, it definitely looks a bit shady. But practically it sounds ok, for PPR/PPE, the compute/proxies/storage costs for the token are subtracted from your PPE revenue so the customer wouldn't really care what you do with it. For PPU however, you could just abuse the token for your stuff. The delay between your server and Apify should be tens of ms (if you are in the US) so I would really go with relaying everything back to the Actor. 3. What is the reason to use your server, are you hitting any bottlenecks?...
