let say I am adding $1000 in apify under this plan.
and let say, by the end of the month I am able to spend only $500, then what will happen to my remaining money?

Each plan's balance is valid for one month. If the month ends and you still have some remaining, it will expire. The best solution is to estimate your costs, subscribe to the plan that fits your needs, and increase your platform spending if necessary to cover any additional costs
