As a user, I’d like the ability to create private “issues.” I’ve had some trouble with my actor, and want to discuss with the developer, but I don’t want that discussion to be public. This seems like such an obvious feature that I assume the lack is intentional.

I have shared this with our team. We generally tend towards communicating in the open, so we built for transparency in mind, but if you have a specific use case for more private discussion I would love to understand it better. Do you feel comfortable DMing me more info, please?

Sure! The actor I use is for getting around Cloudflare, and I'm paranoid about publicly indicating my use of it. I'm comfortable telling you that I use it, since it's a service your platform has and advertises publicly, but I'd just as soon keep any info about my use private. I'm not doing anything illegal, but I'm pretty sure anyone scraping from a Cloudflare-protected site is almost by definition doing something that site would frown upon. Does that make sense? Obviously I can just DM the actor's developer, and will probably do so, but it'd presumably be easier for both of us to share context within the platform.

Thanks! Sharing this context with our team. The consensus is that we are probably not going to be building this soon, as the option to contact the developer privately does exist and the benefit of public Issues is that they're not getting asked the same question over and over again because people can see that it's already been said (lol! Tell that to a developer... At least, this is the idea in theory!)
