Hiya everyone! I have a few updates for y'all this week, so let's get on with it. 📈 Introducing Actor Quality metrics 📈 For the Creators: Actor quality is a new tab on your Insights page that shows how your Actor ranks according to Apify's internal quality criteria. Not only that, but we provide you with tips for improving the score. Follow the suggestions and watch your Actor Quality Score increase! 🚀
Catch up with the docs update here: https://docs.apify.com/platform/actors/publishing/quality-score 🌟 Introducing the Rising Star award 🌟 Some of you may have noticed a few changes in Apify Store recently, including this new category of Actor. The Rising Star award is given to the top 20 new Actors, ranked by Actor Quality. Each Rising Star Actor retains the award for at least 14 days, although the full duration depends on the Quality Score of new Actors that are published in Store. Find out more here: https://apify.com/store/collections/rising-star 🧮 Recalibrated Active User counts 🧮 As part of ongoing platform development (like the new features above), we have cleaned up the way that we count Active Users. The new calculation counts only users that run Actor at least 8 days after signing up for an Apify account, removing disabled accounts and reducing the likelihood of fraud. It doesn't matter if they run the Actor once or 100 times in their first week, they aren't considered an Active User until that first week is passed and they then run the Actor. This means Active Users counts are going to be noticeably lower than you're used to. Rest assured, the actual number of users for each Actor haven't changed - the same number of users are running the Actors as before the change. All that we are changing is the way we calculate the number we display in Store. If you want to discuss this change or any other new features, please reach out to @Apify Developer Community Manager
Wishing you all pleasant end to your week! 🎉
