Sending follow up email to actors users is not working (within few minutes)

Hi, I've detected a bug in one of my actors, so I sent an email to users that I'm working on a fix. After fixing the issue, I tried to send a followup email to let them know that the issue is resolved but I'm unable to do so (I cannot select the actor from the drop down list)Can someone please help! Somehow URGENT please!
