The community member is using the free plan to test their first Actor and is confused about the usage incurred. The usage bar on the bottom left shows a different sum than the suggested $5 usage. Another community member responds that the usage bar on the left shows the real current usage, which can also be seen in the Billing section. The current usage is lower than the summary of the runs because the first 10 compute units are free within the Free plan.
I'm currently on the free plan testing out my first Actor. The usage incurred by the actor suggests that I've exceeded $5, but the counter on the bottom left shows a different sum. Which one should I refer to?
Hi Mark, I see you already got an answer from our support team, but once again for others maybe - the usage bar on the left shows your real current usage, you can see the same amount in Billing -> Current period. The current usage is lower than the summary of the runs, because the first 10 compute units are not counted towards the usage = they are free within the Free plan ☺️
